Stanford’s Memorial Church has been a campus icon for many years. In 2007 the Office for Religious Life set out to build a new interfaith center, the CIRCLE - Center for Inter-Religious Community, Learning and Experiences to meet the changing needs of the community. Eliza was the liturgical consultant for this project, and upon its completion she was asked to make silk hangings for the sanctuary, the lecture hall, and the connecting public spaces - a total of 17 banners, paintings and quilts (painted by Eliza Linley & quilted by Deborah Rasmussen).
